political scenario in andhra pradesh

Political scenario in Andhra Pradesh

Japan Mohan Reddy Kadapa member of parliament son of late Y.S.Rajesekhar Reddy former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. Former chief ministerY.S.Rajesekhar Reddy died on air crash on 2.09.2009 near Nallamala forests.Mr.jagan Mohan Reddy completed two legs of Odarpu Yatra(consolation to those families who have lost lives after sudden death of y.s.Rajasekar Reddy ) in coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh of Srikakulam, vizag ,east and west Godavari districts beside installing idol’s of Y.S.Rajesekar Reddy in number of places and consoling those who have lost lives by suicide and heart attack after sudden death of former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh in air crash. People in large number attended his meeting making congress high in Delhi angry with mr.Jagan Mohan Reddy for proceeding with odarpu yatra without approval of high command.

Before Jagan starting odarpu yatra he stated that it is his personnel affair to meet families who lost lives, but he made public meetings praising his late father for implementing schemes for beneficial to weaker section in the state. In first two legs of yatra number politicians and .M.L.A.s and M.L.C. joined with Jagan who owe to continue the implementation of welfare schemes. People in large number attended making high command in Delhi worry about political affairs in Andhra Pradesh. Sonia Gandhi congress president called and met cine actor cum politician president of Praia Rajyam for his support in continuing congress government to check Jagan Mohan Reddy politically.

Before Jagan starting his odarpu yatra All India Congress Committee has announced one lakh rupees each of those families who lost lives due to sudden death of Dr,Rajasekar Reddy and informed them that the amount will be distributed by district congress presidents. However Mr.Jagan Mohan Reddy welcomed the AICC announcement but started third leg odarpu yatra in Giddalur in Prakasam district defying congress command order not to go on odarpu yatra.Actually Congress has suggested to Mr.Jagan to call all those families those who died due to sudden demise Mr.Y.S. Rajasekar Reddy, to one place in district head quarters and console them. Congress high command called Prakasam district M.L,A.s to Delhi and warned them not to attend Odarpu yatra . Only district minister and relative of Jagan Mr.Balineni Srinivasa Reddi reached to the town and made arrangements for odarpu yatra .Another M. L.A. Mr.Sivaprasad Reddi also attended the odarpu yatra.

The congress is clearly calling the shots in third leg of Jagan Mohan Reddi odarpu yatra, jagan has been virtually ignored by large number M.P.s and M.L.A s and key leaders. Despite intense pressure from local leaders and cadres congress M.L.A. Mukku Narasimha Reddi skipped Kadapa M.P. Jagan Mohan Reddi yatra which entered in his constituency.

However in the absence of Narasimha Reddi did not water down the enthusiasm among local as turn out at Jagan meeting on third day was equally overwhelming. Curiously Jagan did not make any statements that hurts to the congress high command only confined himself praising his father late Rajasekar Reddi beside installing Y.S.R. idols at large number of places and thanking people for their support.

Mean while Mr.Rosiah the chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh is not able work due to ill health. All official programmes have been post phoned to next week. Even he has not attended the Prime Minister’s programme for laying foundation stone for NTPC-BHEL prestigious power project in Manna Aram in ’chittor district due to ill health. However at 78 years age Mr.Rosiah look to need rest. As common citizen I feel Mr.Rosiah chief minister of Andhra Pradesh working set of norms not able to create his special image not able to implement creative ideas for fast development of state infrastructurally and industrially and only concentrating Y.S.R.s pet programme’s implementation. Financially state is doll drums because heavy expenditure it has not able meet expenses under fee-reimbursement scheme and Y.S.R.S arogya sri and free power subsidy to agriculture farmers.

One side Telagana agitation is creating head ache for chief minister Mr.Rosiah.Recent agitation against conducting preliminary examination for grade -1 post created unrest in Osmania University. In addition Telanga bundh on 5th September against conducting Andhra Pradesh public service commission examination, as many as 50 buses were destroyed creating loss to road transport corporation.

During recent assembly by poll elections TRS { Telagana Rashtra Simiti)secured all most all seats they have contested making clear that Telangana people want statehood.. It is better centre government to decide about Telangana ones for all instead of keeping pending the issue for long time.

As per Times of India sources AICC very much concerned on Mr.Rosiah often falling sick and has decided to revamp entire Government ministers and congress party affairs in the state in third week of September. Andhra Pradesh congress party president Mr.D.Srinivas term is over and is expected to be replaced by another leader either from Telangana or Andhra. To progress in fronts with vigorous development of state it is worth select a young talented person as a chief minister of state who can take more burden at this crucial situation for overall development of state.

We need a able capable dynamic chief minister who turn round situation now for overall development of state.
